With over 55 years of expertise and operations across 9 countries, we're looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team in Bangalore.

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will support the finance operations for our Germany, Netherlands and Belgium entities, ensuring supplier invoices, expenses and payments are processed accurately and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their finance career within a global travel business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes in SAP and ReadSoft.
  • Manage invoice approvals and follow up with stakeholders in line with authorization requirements.
  • Process employee expense claims and company credit card expenses.
  • Prepare and support weekly payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Reconcile direct debit transactions and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Produce reports, investigate parked invoices and support month-end activities.
  • Provide support to the wider finance team and cover for colleagues during leave periods.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous accounting or accounts payable experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SAP or ReadSoft would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of VAT regulations and finance processes.
