Full job description
Can you make families feel welcome, lead a team and keep a busy property running smoothly?
We’re looking for a warm, organised and practical manager to take responsibility for daily life at Worldschooling Hub Goa.
Set within three acres of a former cashew plantation, our Hub brings together international families for learning, travel, friendships and community. Families join us for four-week cohorts, with many returning or extending their stay.
We offer family accommodation, children’s learning programmes, a Teen Hub, parent activities and shared spaces for working, wellbeing and spending time together. Our nervous-system-first approach puts calm rhythms, connection and thoughtful care at the centre of the experience.
Your role
You’ll be the main point of contact for families and the person who keeps our staff, property and weekly activities working well together.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming families and coordinating arrivals, orientations and departures.
- Managing housekeeping, maintenance and operational staff.
- Keeping accommodation and shared spaces clean, prepared and well maintained.
- Coordinating activities, excursions, transport and local providers.
- Working closely with our education and teen programme leads.
- Handling family questions, feedback and concerns with care and clear boundaries.
- Managing supplies, approved spending and operational records.
- Following safeguarding procedures and keeping the founders informed.
Who we’re looking for
You have experience managing a boutique hotel, retreat centre, family resort, residential community or similar operation.
You’re confident supervising staff, communicating in English with international guests and solving practical problems. You notice what needs doing, follow through and stay calm when plans change.
Experience working with families, children or community programmes would be particularly valuable. Knowledge of Goa and its local suppliers is also an advantage.
You should be comfortable using spreadsheets, email and shared calendars, and able to work on site in South Goa. The role requires agreed flexibility around family arrivals, departures and events.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to help shape a growing family community and make a visible difference to people’s experience of India. You’ll work closely with the founders, with responsibility for daily operations and scope to improve how the Hub runs.
Apply
Send your CV and a short introduction covering your relevant experience, current location, availability and salary expectations.
Please include an example of a time you managed a difficult guest situation or resolved an operational problem.
References and appropriate background checks will be required.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
