MIRA Studio Jewels is a modern fine jewelry brand specializing in lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, custom jewelry, and contemporary jewelry designs. We are looking for a skilled Jewelry CAD Designer to support our growing design and production workflow.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Designer who can convert jewelry concepts, sketches, references, and specifications into accurate, production-ready 3D CAD models.

This is a part-time remote position suitable for someone who already has experience creating jewelry CAD designs and wants to work with an international-facing jewelry brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD models for jewelry, including rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and other pieces.
• Convert sketches, images, references, and design concepts into detailed CAD models.
• Create designs suitable for 3D printing, casting, and manufacturing.
• Apply correct measurements, stone settings, dimensions, and proportions.
• Modify and refine existing CAD designs based on feedback.
• Ensure designs are structurally practical and suitable for jewelry production.
• Prepare files and renders for internal review, client presentations, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the design and production team remotely.
• Make revisions quickly and accurately when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in jewelry CAD design.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry modeling and manufacturing requirements.
• Proficiency in at least one professional jewelry CAD software, such as:
• Rhino 3D
• MatrixGold
• JewelCAD
• RhinoGold
• Or equivalent jewelry CAD software.
• Good understanding of stone setting, metal thickness, proportions, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to understand design instructions and implement revisions accurately.
• Good communication skills.

Portfolio Required
