Role Overview - Interface Engineers – Projects (Railway/Metro)
The Interface Engineer will act as a critical link between RENMAKCH Head Office, project installation sites, and customer representatives. The role focuses on seamless technical and contractual coordination to ensure smooth execution of projects from design stage through commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities -
Technical Coordination -
- RENMAKCH Design Department, Project Sites & Customer/Client Representatives
- Ensure timely exchange of all interface and design-related data.
- Coordinate resolution of technical queries and site issues.
Interface Management -
- Manage all interface requirements between different stakeholders involved in the project.
- Track, monitor, and close interface points to avoid delays in execution.
- Ensure alignment of site requirements with design and contractual specifications.
Contractual Coordination -
- Handle all technical and contractual communication related to interface data.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and timelines.
- Support contract execution by coordinating approvals, submissions & clarifications.
Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate and up-to-data
- Interface documents
- Drawings and approvals
- Correspondence with clients and internal teams &
- Prepare reports on interface status, risks, and pending actions.
Site Coordination - Visit project sites frequently -
- Resolve interface issues
- Coordinate with installation teams
- Ensure smooth execution at site
- Act as a bridge between site realities and head office planning
Stakeholder Communication -
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Represent RENMAKCH in interface meetings and technical discussions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive coordination
Key Requirements - Educational Qualification - Diploma in Engineering or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline)
Experience - 3/5 years of relevant experience in railway / metro projects preferred
- Experience in interface management or coordination roles is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies -
- Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings and project execution
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Good knowledge of contractual documentation and project workflows
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel extensively across project sites in India
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
