Power Electronics Application & Quotations Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Power Electronics Application & Quotations Engineer to support sales and field teams in developing power conversion and energy storage solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, system sizing, product selection, technical proposal preparation, costing, and techno-commercial quotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements, load profiles, site conditions, and technical specifications.
• Design and size UPS, BESS/ESS, inverters, converters, DC power systems, and frequency converters.
• Perform battery capacity, load, current, cable, efficiency, thermal, and redundancy calculations.
• Select suitable battery technologies such as VRLA, Li-ion, LFP, and Na-ion based on application requirements.
• Understand and recommend suitable UPS and power conversion topologies including Online, Modular, N+1, Parallel, and Hot-Standby systems.
• Support sales and field teams with technical solutions and customer requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide technical clarification to customers, consultants, EPCs, and channel partners.
• Prepare techno-commercial quotations, BOMs, cost estimates, compliance statements, and technical proposals.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams for component pricing and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate technical risks, deviations, project requirements, and commercial margins.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, system architecture drawings, battery sizing calculations, datasheets, and presentations.
• Maintain quotation records, costing databases, sizing tools, and technical documentation.
• Keep updated with power electronics, UPS, energy storage, and competitor technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in power electronics, UPS, ESS/BESS, industrial power solutions, application engineering, or technical sales support.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of power converters, inverter topologies, UPS systems, batteries, ESS/BESS, and electrical distribution systems.
• Experience in battery sizing, load calculations, cable sizing, efficiency calculations, and redundancy analysis.
• Good understanding of technical proposal preparation, costing, and quotation processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and technical documentation.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings and prepare/review system architecture and single-line diagrams.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
