Job Title: Wellbeing Counsellor – Middle School

Job Description

• Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support to middle school students.
• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address students’ wellbeing needs.
• Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience, self-awareness, and positive relationships.
• Identify students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Conduct wellbeing programmes and workshops on stress management, peer relationships, bullying prevention, and mental health awareness.
• Maintain confidential counselling records and follow appropriate safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• MA/M.Sc. in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a relevant field.
• Counselling qualification or relevant professional training preferred.
• Experience working with middle school students is preferred.

• Empathy, patience, and a student-centred approach.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and school leadership.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Master's (Required)
