Position: Service Engineer

Location: East/West/North/South Region

Role Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial weighing and packaging machines at client sites. The role involves providing on-site technical support, ensuring smooth machine operations, and delivering prompt service to minimize downtime. The candidate will handle field service activities across the assigned region, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities -

Installation & Commissioning -

• Execute installation, commissioning, and configuration of weighing and packaging systems at customer locations
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for accurate setup
• Conduct trial runs, calibration, and performance testing to ensure machines meet operational standards
• Ensure proper handover with complete system demonstration and documentation
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machines
• Diagnose faults in electrical panels, sensors, load cells, PLCs, and mechanical components
• Identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
• Maintain optimal machine performance and minimize downtime through timely intervention Customer Support & Training
• Provide prompt on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Train operators and maintenance staff on machine handling, safety, and basic troubleshooting
• Build strong customer relationships through professional service and communication
• Ensure quick response and closure of service requests as per SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Prepare detailed service reports, installation reports, and maintenance logs
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, design, and support teams) for issue resolution

Qualifications & Experience Education:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field Experience: 1–5 years of experience in service engineering, machine installation, maintenance, or industrial automation.

Travel Requirement:

• Candidate should be comfortable with extensive travelling across the assigned region.
• Out station travel may be required based on project/service requirements.
• Company will provide travel and accommodation support for official visits.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹54,000.00 per month
