JOB TITLE: Service Engineer

LOCATION: Gopalapuram, Chennai

EXPERIENCE: 1–5 Years

QUALIFICATION:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, E&I, ECE, Mechanical or related disciplines.
  • Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service industrial instruments and equipment at customer locations. The candidate should possess good technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel for service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of instruments and equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and instrumentation-related issues.
  • Conduct calibration, testing, and performance verification of equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Prepare service reports and maintain service records.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely completion of service activities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and effective service support.
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Industrial Equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email).
  • Ability to work independently and travel for field service activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in industrial instruments, process control equipment, calibration, maintenance, or technical service support.
  • Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby locations as required.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with qualification, experience, and technical expertise.
