POSITION DETAILS


JOB PURPOSE


To ensure timely preparation and availability of accurate and up to date geographical information, assist, plan and design of FTTH network for ISP/ OSP / IBD (UG, Aerial)


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Validate and digitize the data captured from field survey of the given area
  • Capture all field information w.r.t to planning requirements (Building data, Home pass data, Pole data, strata information, etc)
  • Preparation and validation of Business Cases for given BOI by Sales team
  • Dark Fiber planning for Access and Transport links
  • Validation and submission of BoQ to Finance team.
  • Coordination with O&M & Rollout for Smooth working.
  • Preparation of NFAs for additional budget requirements.
  • Forecasting Passive material requirement and submission to SCM for procurement.
  • Constantly monitoring Access ring utilization and raised a flag of upgradation to Active Planning team.
  • Distribution of work and Collection of all distributed data.
  • Create, translate and integrate GIS data layers, and digitize new data using a variety of software.
  • Network Planning for various Clusters & Buildings with Passive network plan as per the Technology chosen (GPON/MEN) in line with overall Technical & Cost Guidelines issued from the Central Planning team and with inputs from Field Planning team for OSP, In-Building & Customer connectivity plans.
  • QC for spatial and non-spatial data.
  • Visual & Digital Image Interpretation
  • Assist, plan and design of FTTH network for ISP/ OSP / IBD (UG, Aerial)
  • Working knowledge of GIS techniques such as map production, editing, and geocoding.
  • Conversion in required formats of all type digitized data.
  • Vector and Raster Analysis.
  • GIS Data Planning, monitoring, and team co-ordination

QUALIFICATIONS


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


7-10 years in functional domain


Specialist knowledge in: Wireline Technology - GPON / GEPON / PON / MEN / AutoCAD / Small World / ArcGIS / Bentley COMM’s


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


Bachelors/ Masters Degree
