Snapshot of the Day!

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical systems. Focus is on mathematical modelling of systems of a diverse nature, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create a controller that will cause the systems to behave in a desired manner. May specialize in the design, configuration, and automation of systems. Specialization Match Note: Engineers specializing in the design, configuration and automation of systems should be matched to this role.

How will you make an Impact.

• Design, develop, and document PLC programs (e.g., Ladder Logic) for compressor control panels based on project requirements and engineering specifications.
• Configure and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and SCADA systems to provide effective operator control and data visualization.
• Create and modify control logic to optimize the performance, safety, and efficiency of compressor systems.
• Select and specify appropriate control hardware, including PLCs, I/O modules, sensors, and variable frequency drives for new and existing panel designs.
• Perform in-house integration and functional testing of control panels to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications before deployment.
• Provide technical support during the commissioning & support troubleshooting.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including control narratives, logic diagrams, and bill of materials.

What you Bring!

• Bachelors in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. experience of 3 to 15 years is expected
• Ideally a professional accreditation in a recognized engineering discipline, preferably relating to the fields of Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation.
• Working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.
• Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.
