Job Title: IT / Technical Business Analyst
Location: Remote initially. Must be ready to move to onsite anytime (Dubai, UAE)
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field
- Professional certifications are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a Business Analyst role
- Experience in IT environments preferred
Role Purpose
The IT / Technical Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of technology solutions. The role ensures accurate requirement translation, effective stakeholder communication, and timely implementation of IT initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis
- Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Perform first-level analysis of business issues and propose solution recommendations.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and business process workflows.
- Support change requests (CRs) and application enhancements.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the interface between business users and IT teams.
- Engage with HODs, project managers, vendors, and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and review sessions.
Documentation Management
- Prepare and maintain project and operational documents including BRD, FRD, UAT documents, risk assessments, project plans, MOMs, NDAs, agreements, and sign-off documents.
Project & Delivery Support
- Support scope, timeline, and milestone planning.
- Coordinate project execution and track progress.
- Monitor Service Desk tickets and SLA performance where applicable.
Testing, Training & Support
- Support system and UAT testing.
- Assist with enterprise systems testing.
- Conduct end-user training and provide post-implementation support.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis using Excel and related tools.
- Develop KPI, KRI, vendor KPI, and monthly IT reports.
- Support Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Maintain IT access and management reports.
Tools & Technology
- Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Project tracking tools
- AI-enabled tools including Microsoft Copilot
Skills & Competencies
