SOUL – Source of Unconditional Love, a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children and communities, is looking for a sincere and responsible Project Officer staff member for our back-office and administrative work.

This role is suitable for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in starting their career with a purpose-driven organization. Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates living near Tollygunge or nearby areas will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily back-office and administrative work.
• Maintain office files, records, documents, and registers properly.
• Support data entry work and update records in Excel.
• Assist in preparing letters, reports, lists, and official documents.
• Support in preparing project reports, progress reports, annual reports, and basic proposal documents.
• Help in creating social media posts, captions, and basic communication materials.
• Design simple posters, creatives, and updates using Canva.
• Manage printing, scanning, photocopying, filing, and documentation.
• Support student, donor, project, and office-related documentation.
• Coordinate with team members for office and program-related work.
• Maintain proper records of communication, forms, bills, and receipts.
• Assist in email, phone call, and WhatsApp communication when required.
• Keep office documents confidential and well-organized.
• Support other office-related assignments as required by the organization.

Note:

The candidate will not be limited to these responsibilities and may be required to undertake other assignments as needed by the organization.

Required Skills

• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, email, and internet.
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Must have knowledge of Canva for creating basic designs and social media posts. (Photoshop knowledge will be preferred.)
• Ability to maintain records and documents carefully.
• Basic communication skills in Bengali and English.
• Responsible, sincere, punctual, and disciplined.
• Willingness to learn new work.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduate in any stream.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in office administration, NGO work, documentation, or data entry will be an added advantage.
• Candidates residing in or near Tollygunge, Kolkata will be preferred.

Pay: ₹84,000.00 - ₹96,000.00 per year
