Event Planner – Sponsorship & Marathon

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Sponsorship Management

• Identify and research potential sponsors aligned with the marathon and event objectives.
• Develop sponsorship proposals, presentations, and customized branding packages.
• Schedule meetings and pitch sponsorship opportunities to corporate organizations.
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements, branding rights, and commercial terms.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors and partners.
• Ensure all sponsor commitments and branding deliverables are executed during the event.
• Coordinate sponsor activations, exhibition stalls, product displays, and promotional activities.
• Prepare sponsorship reports, ROI summaries, and post-event appreciation reports.
• Achieve monthly and event-wise sponsorship revenue targets.

Marathon Planning & Execution

• Plan and coordinate the overall marathon from concept to successful completion.
• Prepare detailed event timelines, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate venue inspections and finalize marathon routes.
• Obtain permissions from police, municipal authorities, traffic police, medical departments, and other government agencies.
• Coordinate participant registrations, race kits, bibs, jerseys, medals, certificates, and timing systems.
• Arrange hydration stations, medical support, ambulances, volunteers, security, and emergency response teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for stage setup, sound systems, barricading, branding, photography, videography, and event infrastructure.
• Ensure route branding, sponsor visibility, and directional signage are installed as planned.
• Supervise event setup, race-day operations, and dismantling activities.
• Monitor event execution to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
• Resolve operational challenges and make quick decisions during the event.
• Conduct post-event reviews and prepare performance reports with recommendations for future events.

• Sponsorship revenue achieved against target.

• Successful execution with minimal operational issues.
• Growth in event partnerships and corporate collaborations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
