Role Overview

• Hiring a hands-on Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Angular and working knowledge of Node.js.
• Strong emphasis on AI-assisted development as part of daily workflow.
• Individual Contributor (IC) role focused on building scalable, production-grade applications.

One-line role summary:
Build high-quality Angular applications—and use AI to deliver faster and smarter than traditional workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Angular (v12+) applications using TypeScript and RxJS.
• Integrate frontend with Node.js APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Deliver end-to-end features with focus on:
• Performance
• Stability
• Maintainability
• Use AI tools daily (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to:
• Generate and refine production code
• Debug efficiently
• Create and improve test coverage
• Automate repetitive development tasks
• Build reusable components and contribute to a shared design system.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).
• Write and maintain tests using:
• Cypress
• Playwright
• Jest
• Collaborate with backend and product teams for seamless UX delivery.

What Success Looks Like (6–9 Months)

• Faster feature delivery cycles
• Improved test coverage and fewer regressions
• Measurable improvements in performance metrics
• Creation of reusable UI components
• Demonstrated use of AI to improve productivity and code quality

AI Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

• Active, daily use of AI tools in development workflow
• Ability to demonstrate:
• AI-assisted Angular development and refactoring
• Faster debugging using AI
• Test and documentation generation
• Productivity improvements through AI
• This is not a “learn AI later” role

Required Qualifications

• 8–12 years of frontend development experience
• Strong expertise in:
• Angular (v12+)
• TypeScript
• RxJS
• Experience with:
• PrimeNG, Theme Designer, Prime Blocks
• Node.js and API integration (REST/GraphQL)
• Proven experience building scalable, production-grade applications
• Hands-on experience with:
• Testing frameworks
• CI/CD pipelines
• Regular user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
• Comfortable working as a high-ownership individual contributor

Nice to Have

• Experience with micro frontends or Nx monorepos
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API design
• Exposure to design systems and Figma workflows
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or payments domains

What You Will NOT Be Doing

• No people management responsibilities
• No org-wide architecture ownership
• Not a maintenance-only role
• Not limited to legacy Angular work
