Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall day-to-day activities of the Stores department.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper storage and identification of materials.
• Issue raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and other items against authorized requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform Purchase/Management about shortages.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain GRN, Material Issue Notes, Stock Registers, and other store documents.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and other departments.
• Ensure proper FIFO and systematic material handling wherever applicable.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged, and obsolete materials.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security of the stores area.
• Supervise Store Assistants/Helpers and allocate daily work.
• Maintain proper records in ERP/software/Excel.
• Support periodic stock audits and management reports.
• Ensure materials are issued only against proper authorization.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
