Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers warmly and understand their needs, occasion (wedding, festival, gift, daily wear) and budget.
• Show and explain gold, diamond and silver jewellery, including designs, purity (karat/hallmark), weight, making charges and price.
• Explain diamond basics (cut, colour, clarity, carat) and certification where applicable.
• Prepare accurate bills and estimates, and explain exchange, buy-back and return policies clearly.
• Achieve monthly and festive-season sales targets.
• Handle jewellery carefully, and keep the counters, displays and showcases neat and well arranged.
• Maintain security at the counter: count and record items before and after showing them, and never leave customers unattended with valuables.
• Follow up with regular and past customers about new collections, offers, and occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
• Handle customer questions and complaints politely, and escalate to the manager when needed.
• Help with stock checking, tagging and daily stock records.
• Keep up with daily gold and silver rates and current offers.
