UI/UX Designer – Shopify Website (Remote)

Job Type: Part-Time / Freelance
Location: Remote
Salary: Competitive (Based on Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design a modern and premium Shopify website for our beauty and personal care brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of clean user interfaces, mobile-first design, and modern D2C brand aesthetics.

You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to create a visually appealing and conversion-focused website experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design website UI/UX for our Shopify store
  • Create clean, modern, and mobile-responsive layouts
  • Design landing pages, product pages, and collection pages
  • Improve user experience and customer journey across the website
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and design systems in Figma or similar tools
  • Ensure consistency in branding, typography, colors, and layouts
  • Collaborate with developers and marketing team for implementation
  • Suggest improvements for conversions, engagement, and usability

Requirements

  • Experience in UI/UX design for websites or e-commerce brands
  • Strong portfolio showcasing modern website designs
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
  • Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • Knowledge of modern D2C and beauty/fashion website trends
  • Good understanding of user behavior and conversion-focused design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing Shopify stores
  • Understanding of Shopify themes and layouts
  • Basic understanding of frontend development is a plus
