ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
• B.Ed. / M.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Thorough knowledge of CISCE curriculum, regulations, and examination system.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning.
• Strong administrative and leadership abilities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEssential

• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
• Minimum 5 years of administrative experience as:
• Principal,
• Vice Principal,
• Headmaster/Headmistress,
• Academic Coordinator,
• or equivalent educational leadership position.

Preferred

• Experience in ICSE/ISC schools.
• Experience in school administration and institutional development.
• Experience in board examination management.
• Experience in teacher training and academic supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Academic Leadership

• Ensure effective implementation of CISCE curriculum.
• Maintain high academic standards.
• Monitor teaching-learning processes.
• Improve student performance and academic outcomes.
• Conduct classroom observations and academic reviews.
• Promote innovative and student-centred teaching methodologies.

School Administration

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the school.
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Maintain institutional records and documentation.
• Implement school policies and procedures.

Staff Development

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate staff.
• Organize professional development programmes.
• Foster teamwork and positive workplace culture.
• Ensure accountability and performance standards.

Student Welfare

• Promote holistic development of students.
• Ensure child safety and safeguarding.
• Support counselling and career guidance initiatives.
• Encourage participation in sports, arts, and co-curricular activities.

Parent & Community Relations

• Maintain positive relations with parents.
• Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings.
• Promote community engagement and institutional goodwill.

Strategic Development

• Prepare long-term development plans.
• Support future ISC (Class XI & XII) expansion.
• Assist in accreditation and quality assurance initiatives.
• Enhance institutional reputation and growth.

Technology Integration

• Promote Smart Classrooms and Digital Learning.
• Encourage innovative educational practices.
• Support ICT integration across all levels.

• ICSE/ISC Schools,
• Christian Minority Educational Institutions,
• Missionary Schools,
• Convent Schools,

shall be given additional consideration.

However, selection shall be based primarily on merit, qualifications, professional competence, leadership ability, and suitability for the position.

REMUNERATION

Salary shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and leadership capability.
