Job Description: Online Bidder (Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr)

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Online Bidder to join our business development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and client acquisitions through Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms. The role requires excellent communication skills, proposal writing ability, and a strong understanding of IT/marketing/creative (customize as per your niche) services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr (and similar platforms).
  • Draft persuasive, customized, and professional proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Communicate with potential clients, clarify requirements, and negotiate project terms.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with the technical/operations team to ensure accurate scoping and pricing.
  • Maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay updated with platform trends, bidding strategies, and best practices to maximize conversion.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Online Bidder / Business Development Executive on freelance platforms.
  • Strong understanding of services related to (customize: web development, mobile apps, design, marketing, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to write engaging, tailored, and client-centric proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, lead tracking, or pipeline management (preferred).
