Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Ayurvedic formulations for new and existing products.
• Conduct literature reviews using Ayurvedic classical texts, scientific journals, pharmacopoeias, and research databases.
• Search, compile, and maintain scientific articles, research data, patents, and technical references relevant to product development.
• Prepare laboratory-scale formulations and execute pilot batch manufacturing of newly developed products.
• Record and document formulation trials, manufacturing parameters, observations, and experimental results.
• Coordinate with the Production team for pilot batches, process optimization, technology transfer, and commercial scale-up.
• Participate in product evaluation, stability studies, and formulation optimization.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Product Development Reports, Pilot Batch Reports, Technical Dossiers, and other R&D documentation.
• Assist in regulatory documentation in compliance with AYUSH, GMP, and other applicable guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, research inventory, and experimental records.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Production teams.
• Support clinical research documentation and other research-related activities as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of all formulations, research data, and company intellectual property.
• Perform any additional R&D-related responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager or Management.

Educational QualificationEssential:

• M.Pharm (Ayurveda) or B.Pharm (Ayurveda)

Preferred:

• Experience in Ayurvedic, herbal, nutraceutical, or phytopharmaceutical formulation development.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Ayurvedic formulations and dosage forms.
• Understanding of formulation development, pilot batch preparation, and scale-up processes.
• Scientific literature review and research skills.
• Technical documentation and report-writing.
• Knowledge of AYUSH, GMP, GLP, and FSSAI guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
