CateredCode Systems is looking for a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for someone who is learning software development and wants hands-on experience building real applications, solving technical problems, and working with a development team.
The intern will assist with designing, developing, testing, and improving software projects. You will gain practical experience with coding, debugging, version control, and modern development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing web applications, internal tools, and software features
- Write clean, maintainable code under guidance from senior team members
- Help test, debug, and troubleshoot software issues
- Work with APIs, databases, and front-end or back-end technologies
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Document technical work when needed
- Learn and follow best practices for software development
Qualifications
- Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, databases, Git, or APIs is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
