Full job description
We are looking for a tech-savvy Junior WordPress Developer / Web Designer with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will build, customize, and maintain beautiful, high-performing websites. You should be highly comfortable working with page builders like Elementor and Divi, configuring plugins, customizing themes, and applying basic custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when standard settings aren't enough.If you are a detail-oriented problem solver who loves WordPress and wants to expand your development skills, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Build and launch responsive WordPress websites from scratch using Elementor and Divi.
- Theme & Plugin Management: Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot third-party themes and plugins.
- Custom Adjustments: Use HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to modify layouts, fix responsiveness issues, and add custom styling.
- Site Maintenance: Perform routine updates, backups, security checks, and speed optimizations.
- Content Updates: Upload and format text, images, and products based on client or internal needs.
- Quality Assurance: Test websites across multiple browsers and mobile devices to ensure flawless functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience managing and developing WordPress sites.
- Page Builders: Strong proficiency with Elementor Pro and Divi Builder is a must.
- Frontend Basics: Solid foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript/jQuery for tweaks and customization.
- WordPress Ecosystem: Clear understanding of WordPress core, site migration, staging environments, and plugin troubleshooting.
- Design Eye: Ability to maintain design integrity, typography, and clean layouts.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills to identify plugin conflicts or layout breaks.
- Portfolio: A portfolio or links to live WordPress sites you have built or heavily contributed to.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization.
