Senior Macro Specialist (FX & Commodities) – 2 Positions

About the Role

We are building a high-performance macro research and trading team and are seeking two experienced Senior Macro Specialists to support discretionary and systematic trading activities across global markets.

This role is designed for professionals who possess a deep understanding of how macroeconomic developments, monetary policy, capital flows, positioning, and cross-asset relationships drive market behavior.

The successful candidates will play a key role in generating actionable macro views, identifying high-conviction opportunities, and supporting decision-making across FX and commodities markets.

This is a senior-level position. We are specifically looking for candidates with substantial experience in institutional trading, macro research, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, investment banks, family offices, asset managers, or professional brokerage environments.

Primary Market Coverage

Foreign Exchange (Core Focus)

• G10 FX
• Major Dollar pairs
• Interest-rate differentials
• Central bank divergence trades
• Currency flow analysis
• Relative value opportunities

Commodities (Core Focus)

• Gold
• Silver
• Copper
• Crude Oil
• Natural Gas
• Key industrial and macro-sensitive commodities

Responsibilities

• Develop high-conviction macro market views across FX and commodities.
• Monitor and interpret global economic developments, central bank policy, inflation trends, employment data, and geopolitical events.
• Identify market-moving catalysts and assess their impact across asset classes.
• Produce institutional-quality research reports, market updates, and thematic analyses.
• Track positioning, sentiment, liquidity conditions, and capital flows.
• Build and maintain macro frameworks for key economies and central banks.
• Generate actionable trade ideas with clear risk-reward profiles.
• Participate in daily and weekly market strategy discussions.
• Support portfolio construction, risk assessment, and scenario analysis.
• Monitor major macro events including FOMC, ECB, BOE, BOJ, CPI releases, NFP, PMI data, and commodity-specific developments.
• Collaborate closely with traders, analysts, and management to refine market views and execution strategies.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in macro research, trading, investment analysis, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated expertise in both FX and commodities markets.
• Strong understanding of:
• Monetary policy
• Central banking
• Inflation dynamics
• Global growth cycles
• Fixed income markets
• Cross-asset relationships
• Market positioning and sentiment
• Ability to connect macro developments with practical trading implications.
• Experience producing professional research for institutional or professional audiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
