QC/PROOF READER : JD

  • Perform final proofreading and quality checks on edited and paginated documents before delivery.
  • Review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency.
  • Verify adherence to client specifications, editorial guidelines, and style manuals.
  • Check page layout, fonts, spacing, headings, tables, figures, equations, and references for accuracy.
  • Ensure all author/editor corrections have been incorporated correctly.
  • Identify and report quality issues, inconsistencies, and production errors.
  • Verify cross-references, citations, hyperlinks, numbering, and table of contents.
  • Ensure documents are complete, error-free, and publication-ready.
  • Collaborate with editors, paginators, and project managers to resolve quality-related queries.
  • Ability to identify language, formatting, and production errors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat/PDF review tools, and Microsoft Office.
