IT Security Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Analyst with deep expertise in Application Security, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), F5 ASM, Shape Security, and Incident Response. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing enterprise applications, identifying and mitigating cyber threats, automating security operations, and enhancing the organization's overall security posture.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in application security, network security, threat investigation, packet analysis, and security automation within large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, deploy, and manage F5 ASM, Shape Security, and WAF solutions to protect critical business applications.
• Develop and enforce security policies to mitigate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, bot attacks, DDoS threats, and application-layer attacks.
• Perform application security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk evaluations across web applications and infrastructure.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, suspicious activities, and potential compromises.
• Conduct packet analysis, forensic investigations, and traffic inspection to identify attack patterns and security anomalies.
• Troubleshoot complex application and network security issues involving HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and related protocols.
• Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools using Python to improve detection, response, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to embed security throughout the SDLC.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, providing recommendations to strengthen security controls.
• Create and maintain security documentation, incident reports, operational runbooks, and technical standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, or Network Security.
• Proven hands-on experience with F5 ASM, Shape Security, and WAF implementations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security controls, and incident response methodologies.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with DevSecOps and security automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and enterprise security monitoring solutions.
• Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture and modern security practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale application ecosystems.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CISSP

• GIAC
• Security+
• Equivalent Cybersecurity Certifications

Candidate Profile:

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
