A Student Counsellor supports students' academic, personal, and career development by offering guidance, conducting assessments, and providing interventions to ensure mental health and success. They collaborate with teachers and parents, assist with career planning, and manage crises, requiring skills in communication, empathy, and psychology-related qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Individual/Group Counseling: Conduct sessions to address behavioral, emotional, and social issues, providing techniques for stress management.
• Academic Mentoring: Help students improve study habits, manage academic pressure, and set educational goals.
• Career & College Guidance: Assist with university applications, entrance exams, and career counseling.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with teachers and parents to support students, offering consultations to improve the school environment.
• Assessment & Record Keeping: Administer aptitude tests, evaluate competencies, and maintain confidential student records.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support for student crises and potential cases of neglect or abuse.
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Education.
• Experience: Previous experience in educational counseling or a similar field.
• Skills: Active listening, empathy, crisis resolution, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Competencies: Knowledge of developmental psychology and local mental health services.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
