Location: Pune, Maharashtra
CTC: ₹25-40 LPA
Reporting To: CEO/ Managing Director
About the Company
We are a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Organization specializing in the Auction-based buying and selling of pre-owned vehicles. We successfully conduct large-scale monthly vehicle auctions in Pune and Mumbai, bringing together a network of buyers, sellers, dealers, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.
Having successfully completed 22+ auctions, with participation from 80+ buyers and sellers per event, we are now expanding our business operations and pursuing a large-scale Government-backed Dealer Authorization Certificate (DAUC) Project commence from 1st August 2026, aimed at digitizing and streamlining the vehicle ownership transfer and RTO ecosystem.
To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking a visionary and technology-driven Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the company's digital transformation, technology strategy, product development, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure initiatives.
About the Role
The CIO will be responsible for defining and executing the company's technology vision, ensuring that all technology platforms, applications, infrastructure, and security frameworks support current operations and future business growth.
The role will play a critical role in scaling our vehicle auction platform and leading the technology execution of the upcoming Dealer Authorization Certificate (DAUC) project, commence from 1st August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's overall technology and digital transformation strategy.
- Lead the development and scalability of DAUC-related technology platforms.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Drive technology innovation, automation, and process optimization.
- Ensure seamless integration with government, RTO, dealer, and third-party systems.
- Manage technology budgets, vendors, and strategic technology partnerships.
- Build and lead high-performing Engineering, Product, IT, and Security teams.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to support business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience in Technology, Product Development, Digital Transformation, or IT Leadership.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as CIO, CTO, VP Technology, Head of Engineering, or Technology Director.
- Experience in Automotive Technology, SaaS, FinTech, Government Projects, Marketplace Platforms, or Digital Ecosystems preferred.
