Shop sucks. Some of dispatchers don’t know anything. It’s a job. If you damage something you pay for it. If you’ve ever driven a big truck you know stuff happens so keep that in mind. They will do anything to keep your safety bonus

Good place to work

The pay is good, the management IDs great, driver managers can leave a bit to be desired at times. Overall, it’s a great company, and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a stable job.

Great pay, you get the miles you want or need.

A lot of employees stay on with this company for years, it’s a great place to work. Always running, great equipment, not just a number. All the perks of a midsize company.

Feels a bit like being back in high school

The employees are clique and fight with one another all day and management will just start yelling at you for no reason at all and forget about being promoted it will never happen. That being said there are a lot of great truck drivers there

Great pay, equipment, & home time

They do keep their promises.Their equipment is top of the line.Their home time policy is awesome.If your looking to make good money and be home every weekend, A.D. Transport is the place to be!Recently I switched to their local side, the management is awesome and money is good.

when i started it was great then youbseen the cliques and drama behind the scenes. everyone talks about others very high school like.

I was there almost 3 years and when I got diagnosed with cancer I was let go after my medical expired. I was in the midst of treatment and recieved a certified letter. not even a phone call. not one person checked to see if i was ok. there are cliques and favoritism is huge there. the only halfway decent thing was benefits were ok a little pricy but decent enough.

One of the best place I've ever worked..

Great company to be employed top of the line trucks and a-1 shop...24 hours customer service. Great driver manager... and staffers that help you manage your records ....

AD is always welcoming back, but I feel going back would not allow my ability for growth.

A mostly East company geared towards auto freight and brokered back for return out. Drivers here are not really revered as much as they should be and I found my return to be with bias and disdain. Loyalty seems to reign supreme here and when someone sees a better way and means, it is meaningless to those here.

Not what it was here

DM doesn't care about the driver and we are lucky to get more then 2000 miles per week. It used to be you could get as many miles as you could do legally but not the case anymore. Only good thing terminal is close to where I live.

I brought over 10 driver there but terminated me fo a fatality accident I cudnt control destinatly but only things they worry about is the $ they spend after estimat accident but no worries for my life if they bring all’s za $ in the cool mpany they will not even be close compensate 2 eyesight lost or just a fracture of my leg but they still let me go with no chance after 4 yrs service never lattlatte that’s cold comp

Great

Good experience. I love going otr driving. It relaxing and I'm a hard worker. I plan to go further and try and start with getting a few semi and putting together a team and build in distant future

Nightmare

Safety personnel aren't on your side. Dispatchers are behind locked door for a reason. This company treats drivers like a number. This place has a big turnover.

Nothing good to say

I was told one thing, but once I signed on, was giving a different assignment. Paid half of what I was initially told I would be making. New trucks, but all are automatics with inside facing cameras,...you can do a lot better elsewhere,...

Stress free trucking company

Excellent place to work for local or otr drivers. New trucks that are well maintained they have day cabs and sleepers. Trailers are in great condition. No complaints about pay

Family atmosphere with excellent dispatch and management

I enjoyed being employed at AD TRANSPORT. The management team is on point and very helpful. Compensation was not an issue and there was always plenty of freight to move

Good place to work if your just looking for money and benefits

If you want to always be on the road and have very little time at home then its a good place to work.You can make good money. , the benefits are good but after years driving over the road I am looking for something else.AD Transport is a large company and the only real contact you have with anyone is your dispatcher.As long as you do your job and have no incidents then they pretty much leave you alone.They only give 3 paid holidays and 10 Pto days no matter how long you work there.I just relocated to the Concord NC to be with my step daughters and hoped to find a local job. I have nothing bad to say about AD Transport,I just needed a change in lifestyle.
