There is no structure

Early morning start Break out trailers on dock and sort and load on local delivery trailers. Do paperwork and head out on your route for deliveries and pickups. Always wanting more and more 12 plus hour days . I would not work there again as no appreciation . Only positive is money

Pros

Steady money

Cons

Unorganization always wanting more for less

Stay Away!

Currently working 6days a week and sometimes rotating 7. They take volunteers at first when ask to work 6, then start forcing people if they don’t have enough volunteers. They are very unorganized.

Pros

N/a

Cons

Short breaks Unreachable goals No work life balance Terrible management

It's an alright place.

No pressure no micromanagement. NO OT pay only straight pay. Pretty much do your deliveries and pick-ups. I barely know any drivers cuz we don't encounter any. But everyone is friendly.

Pros

Laid-back

Cons

No OT pay

Play favorites. Not guaranteed you’ll do the job you were hired for. Management lies and makes excuses all of the time.

Great place to work

I’ve been here over 6 years and love it. Yes there are some bad but that is with every job. They are very laid back and understand when you need to be off for kids. Great pay and benefits

Productive and fun place to work, management knew the company best practices and very helpful to new employees.

Excellent management team with good communication ability. Work was not too hard and extra hours available for employees to earn more money. Company was accommodating to the needs of the employees and the employees are well trained and work friendly.

Bad management

Terrible micro managers. Play favoritism. No concern about employees safety or welfare. Money is good, but not working 6 days a week. You have no time to rest.

Friendly environment

Overall they keep you working, inconsistent hours at start times at 9pm or 12pm, vehicle suck with the emergency distance stop ( dengours in early morning traffic), the announced pay for 80,000 to 100,000 is a lie. The don't have enough miles to pay that, only the senior have set long routes, Unless you decide to work as a forklift driver combo, working 14 hrs a day.

Pros

Drivers are helpful

Cons

Inconsistent work hours, never know what time you start

Sick time or pto days

At Cooper, you don't have any sick time that you can use if you need it. They tell you that you have accumulated some many hours but you have to be off 5 days straight before you are able to use sick time. So you are off without pay

Pros

Top out pay is under 12 months

Cons

No overtime pay and they make you stay out for 12 to 13 hours a day

Management weds to change

Outbound Supervisor is vindictive, and volatile, Dock Workers that are also Drivers are reckless, and unprofessional. They destroy Freight, Unless is theirs. They do more hours than the other drivers

Pros

Great Pay

Cons

Vindictive Management

Toxic Work Environment

Terrible job to work for, disorganized, toxic managers and leads, manipulation, terrible communication skills, overall mess of a company. Only thing I appreciated about this company was that it drove me so crazy I quit on my lunch break after 3 years of working there and found a much better job right after I quit. Thank you for showing me there is so much better out there and giving me an example of what a company shouldn't be. Shoutout to the 3 coworkers I did like though.

Lots of work

Good pay and good people. The hours are long but if you need the money it is there for the taking. New trucks. Overtime if you want. Off on the weekends and home every day.

A great job if you're serious

AAA Cooper is a great job to have if you can get in. As long as you show up for work, you're good. People are easy to get along with. Pay is decent and it's direct deposit every Friday.

Pros

Always something to do. You'll never be without a run and you'll be home daily.

Cons

Dedicated runs are the main runs but the lowest pay. If they change that, you'll NEVER leave AAA unless you win the lottery!

Fast pace environment

So far it’s good. Hours are good with ok dispatch. Equipment is newer, however slow to get equipment fixed when problems arise. 1 shop guy to handle all the trucks. Morning dispatcher gives I don’t know every time you ask a question.

Pros

Good pay and hours

Cons

Load your own truck, shop and dispatcher

Great job and environment. My boss was willing to work with me and see errors when pointed out about him as well. I would go back to working here if I ever need to. Great place

If you love your life and family don't work here . Working conditions are the worst even using the restroom feels like you might die because it's so dirty .No kind of safety protocol for employees no breaks and no type of employee appreciation feels like you are dead Working here.

Pros

Cons

No breaks, unhealthy work environment, dirty buildings, unsafe.

Long hours, but decent pay

Pay is decent but you will work long hours. Senority gets the best routes, benefits are alright. Paid holidays, vacation when available. Don't expect appointment times to be set up for some residential deliveries.
