Working there sucks. Don't make money. Management don't know what's going on half the time. Management has their picks of who works where, who can break the rules, etc. Would not recommend working there. Don't make enough money to pay bills with an to get back to to work the next week

A typical day at the work place at AAE was an adventure. Surrounded by good people. I enjoyed the work out. We were loading and unloading trucks and bringing items ordered for the event inside the establishment. I learned to keep my cool when people aren't doing right by you. There is a time and place for everything but even then you have to still know how to handle yourself properly depending upon your upbringing. The bosses there didn't really know how to manage their employees. I enjoyed the work and my co-workers were awesome I just couldn't understand the management. The hardest part of the job was pay day. I have a family and that was the main reason behind me leaving on top of fact a lot of us weren't getting enough hours. The most enjoyable part of the job had to be the people. I miss them.

Injection molding

My day was gathering parts produced by the injection molding machines. Trimming and inspecting the parts. Packaging parts for shipment. Assembly of some parts. I learned a lot about injection molding. The hardest part of the job was standing next to warm machines. The most enjoyable was the easy going work environment.

My day would being at 6am, a brief breakfast in the Hotel restaurant before heading to the main stage for a run-down of the night time show. A rehearsal to learn the dance blocking (moves and placement), and the music and lyrics would follow. After that, a snack at 10am, before heading to a local diner for my six hour shift. (This paid for my Hotel bill). In San Francisco & New York I worked in a coffee shop, and in Chicago I was lucky enough to be employed in the Hotel's own in-house restaurant.
At 4pm, lunch would be served, followed by a second rehearsal and vocal recording. 6pm encompassed the first, full dress rehearsal to ensure everyone is comfortable in the limited vision suits.
8pm would be a second dress rehearsal to refine and polish the routines.
10pm is show time, and last until midnight, whereupon the next day's schedule is briefed. At 1am we retire, and begin again at 6am the next day. Work week is Monday to Saturday.
Time management, stamina, group trust, team playing, team leading and endurance are all qualities that costumed dancers require, and must be proficient in.
Management (coaches) are mainly there to ensure everyone follows the directions and to oversee the productions nightly.
My co-workers were amazing, and this job is the closest I have ever come to having a second family.
The hardest part of my job was getting up at 6am every day, six days a week, for five years.
The most enjoyable was being able to live the dream I'd had since my school days.

Fast-paced workplace with very few employees

Every day is a challenge, not knowing what will need repair.
I have learned the latest techniques in troubleshooting electronic failures, and have sharpened my soldering skills. The owner is someone I used to work with at Southern Autotronics, who ventured out to open his own business. His wife works part time doing important paperwork and making phone calls to customers. I work with two other men who are easy going and highly skilled. The hardest part of the work week is keeping a full staff. Being so small, a man down can cause stress in the workplace. Overall, the job is enjoyable and rewarding, and staying on top of technology being the best part.

If there has to be a negative, I would say the commute back and forth is stressful

Basic food service job i held during high school to pay for prom and other such things. kept through college (freshman year) for extra cash. Supervised a crew of 5 people and managed two stores. work was stressful yet enjoyable know that work was done and personnel was satisfied
