Accenture now-days have started giving good hikes and mid year bonus and promotions post pandemic due to high attrition. Good time to join.Work life balance is less.

Overall its a good company to have a solid exposure with growing new technologies

All depends on the project and team you will work for. opportunities to lear emerging technologies and working on client facing projects.Once you move up to level 9 and above, you will be expected to do multiple task from development to resource management to managing projectsright now the work life balance is defined by making hybrid woking pattern but again it depends on the teams, some team work remotely and still do good.

Worse work atmosphere

It was the worst place I ever worked. No work ethics, highly unprofessional people/managers, non-motivating and insecure managers/colleagues. It was a nightmare to work with such a hopeless setup.

Pros

Free shuttle - apart from it, nothing

Cons

No end time!

Good place to work

Leadership lacks the vision but people from mid management to lower ranks are better professionals. They don't have a campus which typical Indian mncs have. But who bothers about them when u are with great people

Low salary with no growth

Only good part is Accenture has good learning resources like Pluralsight, Skillsoft, Instructor lead sessions, etc. Other than that no good point. You will get hardly any chances to put your proven skills in niche technology in project. Low salary and no growth. It takes minimum 4+years to get into next level and every year you will hear that “You are at high range of salary at your position level” so no or minimum hike (1 or 2 %). Also, don’t understand why they are having “Associate” role in between two roles. Team Lead - Associate - Manager (Took atleast 7yrs to reach to manager level even agter getting top rating in every year). Overall, typical service base company

Insecure work atmosphere

Have to be on your toes all the time.Growth depends on your next level management and your relationship with them.Good salary and learning opportunity.Work life balance is worst you can imagine and very stressful.

Don't get stuck in Technology focused Capabilities or Horizontals

If you are identified as an expert in a Technology, it will be difficult to move out of the role, even if there are fewer opportunities in the role. If you get an offer where you should be part of vertical/capability don't take it, rather go for positions where you would be part of market/Industry group/verticals.

Pros

Work Life Balance

Cons

Very few onshore opportunities, Less Growth after level 8

Good working with Accenture

Accenture is very performance oriented company, you need to perform very well and get involved into multiple things to be able to shine in Accenture. It's a very good company for people who are aggressive and ready to in efforts. Not good for laid back attitude persons.

Extremely dynamic. Wish it was more secure.

I joined Accenture with its technology tower in 2019 post my MBA. It has been an exciting start marred by Covid and frequent switching of projects. Accenture has extremely bright and dynamic people where your performance is regularly monitored. One has to be on their toes with frequent learning, certification, capability work apart from their day to day project work.I wish the work-life balance was better. Overall a good company to work with.
