I spent 9 years with Accenture, Bangalore. Leadership and Sr. Management are very very selfish, they want the project to be successful to get their name lime lighted with client and their managers, but the day you are done with the work, they don't know who you are. Until such time, all false promises. If more follow-ups are done about promotions, either they will talk about lot of unrealistic developmental areas or move you another project.Good thing is based on your performance you get good annual increments and bonus, but don't expect any career growth. You stay in the same level and get good salary, but one fine year your salary will hit wall of that higher bracket, next year your increment is 1% or max2%
Good Team members, Ambiance work culture, good annual increments
No career growth, useless leadership and sr. management
Here employees are treated like any other resources in process to achieve the project / company goal. It is good for fresher level employment. Learning opportunities are available but it needs you to explore and drive yourself to bag it, encouragement from management may bring extra mileage for the entry level of employment.
No importance to career growth at individual level
Accenture is overall a great place to work, however, it depends largely on which function within Accenture you are and who is your manager. There are many managers who are merely because of their tenure and network within the organization are surviving at senior positions and preventing growth of other potential employees. It used to be a very employee centric company during old days (during the days of late CEO Pierre Nanterme), but now it is no more the best place to work. However, Accenture has lot to offer to shape ones career and you will be challenged by very talented people around.

No opportunity for internal job movement - "easy to find a job outside than inside"
My experience with Accenture is great, we know we should not fall in love with company but still it makes you do that. Its my 12th year with Accenture.Very friendly people, great policies, Medical benefits, LOA and WFH in case of family priorities. In the technology landscape, every employee gets chance to upgrade and stay ahead in the market. Recent Cloud drive made almost everyone to learn about various cloud technologies and certifications were sponsored :).Lot of Investments are done on employees learning and at the same time on mental health and myxperience activities where people can show case their hobbies,
Good work culture, great scope to learn and apply, free to move on various functional areas, onsite opportunities, support to Diversity
Supervisor has lot of powers so its difficult if you dont get along well.
Lot of internal politics. Hire and fire policies. Very confusing organization internally. Internal systems and processes are primitive. Leaders lack leadership and vision. They are more tactical than strategic. Immense favoritism.
Lot of projects
Unstructured and adhoc
Company is invaded by group of people who are real Accenture if you do not lick their boot, one will have horrible time in accenture.
Company has become like landlord system where upper middle leadership acts as landlord and rest worker are treated as slaves. Nobody will listen to you and if you would raise concern, be ready to lose your job sooner or later. In nutshell company has become corrupt.
Pays well if you have link
Forget your life
- Scope for personal work and talent to shine through - Hierarchy is close to nothing, friendly higher ups. - Hardest part is making sure your deliverable are noiseless and accurate and to maintain timelines - TAT and SLAs
Lots of work and fun
We lost the account because of not positive support. One of the best account forced to go away from us. I missed a gold mine. Leadership should work on ground reality

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Very good work life balance and job security. Senior management is good and maintains open door policy. Customer interaction and project strategic decision is primarily driven by onshore teams hence mid management at India have limited project decision making opportunities and limited customer handling exposure.
Accenture is too competitive and with time has stopped taking care of senior team members. Work life balance is not as expected and Management is not handling the organization well. It's not the organization which is paying fairly to people and there is no transparency about it.
The management was always ahead of time, knew what was best for the company and employee.. thats the reason the grew rapidly in india Majaority of Employeess have been working for 6++ yrs comfortably
Gptw, management, approach to company growth
many reduntant levels
Great company culture and great place work. Ethics is integral in this company. you get to learn new technology and work on different locations. Far fetched visions.
