Accenture has huge pool of resources. One can learn number of things from the inhouse talent and online resources. The system is very slow as the company is very very process driven and hundreds of approval steps to go though. Priorities change in no time and most things are top down. Hierarchical organization, positions matter a lot.
Accenture is a great company to work for, outside India. In India, not so much. The policies and the management are in a flux always and they are constantly trying to figure out if they are a MNC or want to fight the Indian players on their terms
Some of the things I am grateful to my organisation is giving me an opportunity to work in multi-cultural environment, working in different time zones, opening new markets from the perspective of delivering projects as well as selling new business, growing the penetration of a new work stream, managing relationship with both internal and external stakeholders, spearheading the creation of forecasting documents that clients look forward to, etc. Accenture's strength is in its well connected global network.

Shoe licking culture.
I am part of Media Management and work life balance is not issue most of the time while work is interesting the only issue i have observed is the career progression and bonus distribution criteria along with the appraisals . Its very unclear , and not justified well by supervisors
Work life balance
A Dynamic company for ever changing IT Industry. The Organization identifies all the right trends and market disruptions and prepares itself very well before the wave hits your hard. I have worked for 14 years and would say every day has been new challenge. One of the most enjoyable part of the job is Change and i love to adapt to any new changes.
Accenture has lot of growth opportunities for resources with less than 12 years experience and offers careers in varied specializations like technology, architecture, solutioning, consulting etc. In leadership roles from Project Manager on wards, apart from individual contribution, much depends on soft factors like aligning with leadership and networking with senior leadership for visibility and growth.
Employee friendly policies, especially for Women
High job risk at senior leadership level
