I gained hands-on experience in aircraft overhaul process. The tasks I carried out during a one-month training period are:- 1. Performed assembly ,dis-assembly and testing of hydraulic and electric brake of Boeing 737, 747 and 777 2. Performed assembly ,dis-assembly and testing of undercarriage components (wheel hub, tires and landing gear) of Boeing 737, 747 and 777 3. Performed complete overhauling of aircraft pressurization and air- conditioning system for Boeing 737 The aircraft enginners working at Air India are very dedicated, meticulous and sincere in their work. The level of precision and accuracy employed at Air India was extremely high and even the most simple tasks were carried out with utmost care.

I was working as a trainee in the company.I had hands-on and observational skill on number of ground equipment vehicles such as ground power units,forklift,ground cooling system.
Job is upto 8hours
Air India is a prominent airline of India. So it was challenging for me everyday working on applications and requirement gatherings to keep the organisation at fast pace. I learned a lot in Aviation domain.

The job at their will start at 9.00 am in a day and we have a wonderful management their. All of them are very helpful to learn the thing happening their. We are doing the documentation of quality report. It have four sections mainly, they are log book section, major item section, snag sheet section and technical section. All these are different departments in the Quality control and the first dept. that is log book section, in that we are maintaining the records of flight hours, flight cycle of all aircraft in our fleet and it also includes the record of the major checks in every aircraft. The second one that is major item section, in that we monitors the life of all parts or components of every aircrafts, and also we advise the maintenance people about the required replacements of the components. And third one that is snag sheet section in that we are preparing the work packages for the checks which have to be done in every aircarfts and also creates the reports. And finally in the last section that is tachnical section in that we are preparing documents for the sending to DGCA for their reference.
• The training emphasized on exposure to industry and on the spot study of the activities related to aircraft and its maintenance. • Assisted in carrying out different maintenance checks, Transit checks, Extended Transit checks on BOEING737-800NG fitted with CFM56-7B Engines. • Collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team of electrical engineers, avionics engineers, operational crews. • Interacted with other interns on a variety of projects and improved my teamwork and communicational skills.
