Amdocs Employee Reviews for Senior Software Engineer

It's a good company. I stayed there for a long time. Every employee is respected and the work culture is great. You can talk directly to any senior leadership. Frequnt 1-1 happens with your immediate supervisor. Round tables also happen. Amdocs pays fairly based on your competencies and performance. Those who think Amdocs underpays you should drop their rho/superiority complex introspect yourself. Of course it is not Facebook or Google or Amazon. So, don't compare in terms of salary and work. This was your informed choice at the time of accepting offer. Overall good company to work with.

Amdocs is both product based and also a service based company. Work culture in Amdocs is tremendous you will get to expose some legacy technologies and in some project you will get latest technology.Amdocs is now moving towards the cloud technology.

Pros

Flexibility in timing Shift Allowance Onsite Oppurtunity Good fooding once you are in office premise

Cons

Not much exposure to latest technology Management is biased

Amdocs is one of those companies where anyone can think of starting career with. For some of the people, who joined in good units in Amdocs can plan for long term too as few units have lots and lots of onsite opportunities and for us it really matters, doesn't it ? But read it again, I said "Few Units".

Good place to work wrt to employee care, facilities, work environment etc. Needs to improve on revising salary based on market standards. Sometimes, salary revisions are very poor not on par with industry standards.

Good place to stay long

My division was formed after acquiring a company. Where many different things were being tried out. Many tricks and ideas were used together to do out of box. But in between of this work life balance was affected.
