Salary is average and the atmosphere is relaxed. Easy to get leaves. Completely remote work possible. Diversity and culture is good. They do not provide free lunch.

I have learnt a lot in American Express Technology (AET), We use all the latest technologies and work culture and inclusivity is awesome.Office Timings are flexible, we have daily stand-ups, usually team compromised of contractors and FTE's, We follow agile pattern and 1 sprint has 15 days, Management is great and workplace culture is awesome with diversity and inclusivity.

Amex being a brand make sure that you get maximum benefits like hybrid, good pay outs, but no quick promotions.I guess tou can work here as long happy with agent level.

Good place to work overall but of course like every company it depends on your manager what kind of flexibility you get I would say if you get good managers and team its definitely a wonderful place to work with but yes pay is not at par with the market at same level there is a huge differences in salaries depends on at what CTC you entered in the company it will keep going on even if it is too low there is no salary revision kind of things.

It’s the people, the management and the colleagues that make Amex a Great Place to work. However over the years I have noticed that they hire you with a very low Base Salary so you gotta work hard to get incentives to make up for it as increments/promotions are not frequently available

AMEX genuinely cares for its employees. They treat us really well. The management is supportive. From Trainers to Leaders to Managers they are all really professional yet friendly. They want you to learn and grow. Not only do they care about your growth at work but also individually so if you are a drop out, they would love you to complete your education on priority. They have tie ups with some amazing universities like ICFAI, Amity, NMIMS and more for you to complete your graduation or post graduation degrees. The leaders will always ensure that you get the required leaves to study and appear for exams. The salary packages they offer are fair basis your education and work experience and it gets credited on the 25th of each month. For any reason if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it comes on Friday which is sooner not late. Even during the lockdown they ensured that none of their employees are impacted so they provided a laptop, internet reimbursements and everything required to all the employees for working from home. There is so much that I learnt being a part of AMEX and i miss that kind of work environment here in Mumbai. I so wish they had a captive unit here too so that i did not have to look for a job in other companies.
