At Aptean, people at all levels including Architect are expected to code which is a very nice thing. There are a wide array of products in the company and some products use cutting edge technologies for development.I have advanced a lot in my career as a developer here but the timelines can be a little lean which results in hectic delivery schedules.

Not a good place

Worked as contractor. Not much good employee benefits, no job security. Pay scale is not good, Co-workers are not so great.. Management is partial. Work life balance is not good. Stressful work environment.

Flexible and Manageable. It is a good experience as you can have a balanced life in work and personal life. Team members are very collaborated. The manager is helpful with the work that is been given and also helps in growing professionally by providing necessary inputs.

A decent company that is being ruined by the upper management

The company is great with helpful and friendly colleagues. The work is generally compelling enough to keep you interested but the problems start when you start looking for growth. Despite following Agile methodology, the company tends to always fail to adhere to it. The upper management doesn't care about employee retention at all. They'd rather hire new people with less experience than to keep the long-serving employees happy. The increments in pay and promotions are seldom to the liking of the employees with the year-end review scores are more or less inconsequential. There have been times when a low scoring employee has been given a much higher percentage of hike while a high-scoring employee has been fed chum in the way of a meager 5% hike.

Hike, lack of growth, no care for employees, a cafeteria that is worse than ones you find in colleges, management is oblivious to the employee's needs

Worst company of the decade and counting..

Until the merger it was one of the best companies to work for. Employee benefits were great and the workplace was amazing.Customers were happy & ever increasing and product focus was great.But ever since its APTEAN its a company with no vision, zero transparency, integrity(is no more in their dictionary) and has nothing to offer in the long run for both employees and customers(no proper vision or road map). Job security is negative and their project management sucks.Customers and employees are screwed because of their "changes" and nobody cares. A great company which was screwed because it was sold to a rich scrap dealer

being an employee of Consona also knows As Aptean softwares, One of the worst company to work when it comes to management, ethics and work.Aptean management is very bad, no hike, no work ethics, no technical growth and job threat. there are no job security and management will not stick to one decision always. Pink slip chances are more.Only good thing is, If you are close to management, you can stay happy with less salary and less learning curve.

Good working at APTEAN

A very nice working culture with work life balance. A typical day would developing variois ERP features into the product. Product is named as Made2Manage. This product was recently migrated from a VFP technilogy to dot net technology.
