Productive, decent management, good work culture, not impressive salary structures as there is a reason about budget constrains every year. Flexibility in work. Motivating line manager, gives room to new and additional tasks and not a monotonous job.
Immense politics and you there is no values of skills No future scope of growth is on basis of skills No comments- There should be a competition at least a fair one. No scope of learning The HR and management are the pillars of politics No Leave provided as per requirement No particular rules followed. Rules written and implemented are different as per the power a person holds
No Level of progression. Married to same job for next 10 years min. Pay cut if any crisis occur. Not prepared for future. Team is good, Biased female managers. All are sailing to same boat at same level. Average salary hikes. Relaxed culture, but some time favoritism is visible in female employees. No Skip level with HR or current Org. Write a query to HR, and they will redirect it to below team and never get resolved. HR team has attitude on nose (As they are so called HR), so not to mess or take any issues to them. Don't know where they are busy entire year. May be making some new policies for employee benefits, but never introduced or implemented.
Company having multi divisions in India, project management and construction management is one of them where I am working as Sr. Manager Health, Safety & Environment from last 1 year and 7 months. I found excellent working culture and payroll system along with personal befits.
Good Company to settle down if you get a good project and package. .. HR doesn't care much about filling the replacement in case someone leaves from team. Unlimited wfh. No Micromanagement. Free Food and Insurance. Life Insurance is 3 times of your CTC. No Much Politics .. Talent is recognized.
A good Work Life balance, Decent benefits, Job Security(Satisfaction?). Recognition. Same work over and over again. Poor management (It's everywhere so can't blame this company alone.) They do make an effort to do good by employees.
Free Lunch that smells
No consistent competency build up schemes
Company in overall is a good company, but two much of regional politics, biased,no value for people and their past experience will be used only upto interview level only. Specially with ME HR Ops mgmt (all are double standard).
long working hours, worst food(no common cafeteria), only job job
Atkins is a global company and into many diverse sectors. Hence there is so much to learn. There are many online training and tutorial available if anyone wants to. Managers are always encouraging to study new and various courses available as well as participate in sports and many other extra curricular activities. Management is good and people are well taken care of. Hardest part of the job may be is learning and understanding things by yourself most of the time rather than being fed. Overall Atkins is a great place to work.
Great co-workers. Looked forward to the free lunches and group chat sessions during those lunches. Professional in terms of etiquette and workplace behavior. Learnt how to deal with different people placed around the globe and computer skills especially Microsoft Excel. Management changes led to highs and lows in team performance but generally delivered consistently well. Hardest part of the job was transitioning within the same company to the rail track design team from the aerospace business. The most enjoyable parts of the job were the office lunches, sports day and off course salary day !
