Good pay masterGood infrastructureGood managementNo orientation or training providedIndifferent managementNo internal control and guidance system in placeLots of politics
No effective system in place, no job security, politics
You aren't seen as a teacher who deserves and needs to be respected, oriented, supported and guided to give off your best but as a cog in a big machine. No clarity regarding your responsibilities and reporting head.
No clear line of reporting, No support with regards to online teaching, Unappreciative and disrespectful senior management and chosen few colleagues
No salary slabs, they pay at their own discretion. No defined working hours, management tries to exploit their employees to every extent. Their is no defined policy and protocol. It's like a ring with a ring master who likes to watch a new show everyday in the dying circus.High attrition rate and no job security. No vision clarity and management lacks ethics but expect it from others. If a person is efficient to finish the work in time they try to engage in unnecessary and objective less tasks just to keep the employees overburdened. (It's like a beauty parlour, if no customer is there just massage the owner).
If you are a chameleon and lack self esteem then it is the best place to flourish.
Intelligent people don't stay, school teaches you how not to teach but entertain and kill time.
Frankly, they will pay you well but a hike is rare. Maybe after 5 years of working here. The Director plays a very active role in the organization and she expects a lot of brown-nosing although nobody will outright say it, of course. Keep brown-nosing and praising her religious beliefs and you'll gain a place in her good books. People keep leaving this job and you'll often wonder why, until you're actually a part of the company. Then, it's chaos. Good luck!
The school has good plans for development and growth however there's lot of favouritism to the extent that the management especially the director turns a blind eye to certain sensitive and intricate aspects. A few teachers especially heads are given undue importance.
Long working hours
Despite the pressure, if your goal oriented or a workaholic then this place is for you. You can't take days off and expect not to be reprimanded by the management. The parent's and their happiness comes first at this school. Children are 2nd by the adults.
Pay is good
It one of the best school. I learned a lot in this school and it surely helps you to grow as a teacher. A day filled with well planning and enthusiastic approach and friendly co-workers. the management is helpful and approachable.
