it's good for freshers
Application Developer (Former Employee) - Chennai, Tamil Nadu - August 31, 2023
I recently had the privilege of applying for an Application Development role at BNP Paribas, and I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience throughout the process. From the moment I submitted my application to the final interview, BNP Paribas demonstrated professionalism, innovation, and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive candidate experience. The application process was streamlined and user-friendly. The company's online application portal was intuitive and allowed me to provide all the necessary information and documents without any hassle. The prompt response I received acknowledging my application's receipt showed BNP Paribas's dedication to keeping candidates informed and engaged from the start. What truly set BNP Paribas apart was their emphasis on understanding my skills and experiences. The initial screening interview was conducted by a knowledgeable HR professional who delved deep into my background and aspirations. Their thoughtful questions allowed me to showcase my expertise while also gaining insights into the role's expectations and the company's work culture. Moving on to the technical assessment, BNP Paribas provided a challenging yet stimulating coding assignment. This assignment reflected the real-world challenges I could potentially face in the role, underlining the company's commitment to practical evaluations. I was impressed by the prompt feedback I received on my assignment, which showcased the company's dedication to transparency and constructive communication.

Work-life balance
Software Engineer (Current Employee) - Chennai, Tamil Nadu - April 23, 2023
Depends on the project. Great work-life balance. Using legacy technology. Lethargic process. Not a goof up to market standards. Year end bonus is good.

Good Company to work with but not on contract
Associate (Current Employee) - Thane, Maharashtra - February 6, 2023
Company provides lot of benefits to employees such as shift allowance, free food, free transport and frequent CSR activities. Work pressure would depend on the kind of process you get. Generally lot of work pressure in APAC processes while EMEA ones are bit laid back. In my process, working for 10-11 hours straight everyday is norm but there are some processes where people log out within 9 hours. It is not advisable to work here on contract as it’s difficult to get converted to permanent role. Even when you are performing well compared to permanent employees, you would be expected to do more to get converted. But it also depends on your manager. Good managers recognise your hard work and convert you to permanent role within 1 or 1.5 years while some managers would keep you on contract forever.
