It gave a goo insight into the world and working of a world class company and how it operates at the global market.
It gave a great oppurtunity to collaborate with lots of smart people and the culture is highly employee centric where people are being very supportive of your goals and career path.
However the problem i saw was, people are way too intimidated by the benefits company provides which somehow in the long run tend to make people slow-paced and less competitive.
Fast paced, demands too much commitment, collaborative team, value driven assignments, analytical skills required. You have to be creative and push your limits
Boston Consulting Group provides its employees with a steep learning curve while working with industry leaders to solve complex problems across a plethora of functional areas.
I got in touch with the Virtual Experience Program offered by Boston Consulting Group through an open access platform InsideSherpa. A real-life business problem was given divided into 5 modules namely Market Research, Data Analysis, Understanding Consumer needs, Client Recommendation and Stakeholder management.
Pros :
Gain experience across multiple industries
Get to work with smart people
Cons :
Working hours are stretched on most of the days
Stressful life

One of the biggest consulting companies in the world and the fastest growing strategy consulting firm in India. The culture is really good and perks are good compared to other India firms.

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Fast pace and high pressure environment results in developing a great skillset. Opportunities to work with a global team and fortune 500 clientele, on high impact projects.
Good place to be for few years. Excellent assignments with great exposure and various clients. Chances to work on different projects and technologies.
BCG provides a good opportunity for learning and growth. But the hours are extremely long. It is expected that an associate will work during weekends. One has to specifically request for work free weekend
As an Advisor I was asked to give my professional inputs in certain areas of EPC business like Tendering, Pricing, competitive environment etc.
Got paid promptly on completing my assignment
