Day begins at 9 in the morning, followed by a delicious breakfast in one of the 18 cafeterias. Then begins the work which is half hard work and half motivation from the managers. We get to learn a lot while working in Cisco. The Game zone in Building 11 and many other amenities at the campus give a much-needed break from daily work. Lunch has a lot of options from North Indian to Italian cuisines. Day ends at 4pm with a hot cup of wonderful coffee/tea with a variety of cakes, pastries, brownies and donuts.

Amazing organization

WLB is good. Pay is not that great

Annual hikes are bad. Job security is not good. Hire and fire funda every year. I worked for more than 3 years there but in that duration there was only 1 hike cycle in that also they have given peanuts

This is not like other verbose review which do not give any real world idea inside the company . I tried to be realistic with this review based on my experience being in SD-Wan team Bangalore.Pros:Work culture is good. Co-workers are supportive.ConsDon't go with the "Best place to work" - tag1. Project is not that good. Most of the project usages legacy technology. Lot of unnecessaryprocess to do a simple job.2. There are no best practices are followed. Lot of people to do the same job, so different people follows different practices.3. Build process takes 6-7 hrs to complete. Sometimes one day to complete. So you can think how much development time got wasted.4. Not much innovation happens here.5. Everything depends on your managers. Even relocation benefit is not part of company policy. So please read your offer letter carefully. You will not get relocation benefit if later you move to new state.6. Managers are not supportive at all. The company has no strict work from office policy, but managers will force to come to office. So dont know whats going on here.7. There is no growth opportunity. You will end up learning nothing but some bunch of nonsense processes. Most of the good works goes to US and China team.8. SD-WAN Bangalore UI development manager is worst. Think twice before joining this project.9. Think twice before joining this company. Its better to work in small company rather than working here.

Cisco Webex is one of the best IT companies in India. I enjoyed myself thoroughly from 2006 to 2016.Over 23 years of experience in the electronics industry of 20 years in Telecommunications (EPABX/Audio conference bridges).
