Cisco Webex is one of the best IT companies in India. I enjoyed myself thoroughly from 2006 to 2016.Over 23 years of experience in the electronics industry of 20 years in Telecommunications (EPABX/Audio conference bridges).

Amazing company without a job security

Amazing people, amazing culture, amazing benefits. But all these things are not matched with job security. Every August they fire bunch of people in the name of limited restructuring and it is not based on performance , it is random. Lot of reorganization happening every 4-5 months so growth is very slow, yearly increment is 4-5% only.

A good and secure place to be at

Its a great place to start your career, on onboarding process was very accommodating, peers are always ready to help. Sometimes things do get out of hand and PRDs are changed on the fly but that's a rarity. Products are good and leaders are open to suggestions.

Great company , great culture, not so bad salary. Lot many people you can see 10+ yrs in the crowd. work life balance is good.depending on teams, you will have to work on weekends for releases.

The leadership team at Cisco is quite supportive & understanding and encourages their employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Cisco offers sufficient paid leaves in a year (AL + Emergency Leave + Sick Leave) & encourages its employees to take leaves periodically so as to switch off from work & spend some quality time with family & friends.
