Unreliable
Director (Former Employee) - Gurgaon, Haryana - May 16, 2023
The culture is poor. Managers have favourites and they grow. Rest of folks are frustrated. Sudden layoffs of very talented people is shocking. Politics.

Insights into Cuemath
What people like
- Ability to meet personal goals
- Ability to learn new things
- Clear sense of purpose
Currently, not a good place to work, and the situation may get worse in the next couple of months, it used to be a great company
Senior Manager (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - May 10, 2023
Post-layoff and leadership change getting a weird sign don't know what all changes will come. The bad thing is till last month April they communicated appraisal salary will be paid the next month but all of a sudden now the appraisal is moved to October, and we have to work here for another 6 months to get the hike technically 1 and a half year to get a revised salary which was supposed to be one year not a great decision Recently they laid off 100 people now after this announcement I am sure 100 more people will be left by themselves.

you need to struggle a lot
Teaching Faculty (Current Employee) - Kolkata, West Bengal - March 30, 2023
They force you to get more students from your side. you need to do lots of advertisements, events, and programs to promote cuemath. but they give lots of incentives for this. but the money from these incentives you will receive once the student 6 month class is done. maximum times they deny giving. you get very less demos or no demos if u don't have any students from your side.
Pros
once you overcome all the cons, you can see your growth.

Financial growth is supported, but 0 work life balance
Senior Academic Counselor (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - January 4, 2023
I am in the US plus sales and I must say that the Management is very poor, IJP policies are good, job security, if you are underperforming, they are understanding and give you time instead of directly pushing into PIP. Incentive structure is quite attractive. Yet working hours are crazy, 12 hours minimum with no week off if the team target is under achieved. Yet the company has less politics as compared to other EdTech companies. They do not have Hire and Fire policies.
Pros
Revenue and incentive structure is attractive, no false selling, consultative selling
Cons
Long working hours, no week offs even if individual target is achieved in case the team target is pending

Productive
Teaching maths instructor (Current Employee) - Noida, Uttar Pradesh - June 27, 2022
Cuemath initially was a great start up and we all supported Cuemath whole heartedly. They never supported us in marketing but we performed well in all circumstances. With time it grew up and all personal touch with employees was gone . Teachers became their slaves and we started getting paid peanuts with no incentive n bonus ..
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Too much stress

Cuemath Teacher Expert (Current Employee) - Work from Home - May 25, 2022
It's a very good job as you can conduct the lecture at your time but somehow I feel like I was not being paid enough or not getting enough amount of money.

good place to start your career
BDA (Current Employee) - Remote - May 4, 2022
good place to start your career but stressful environment because of multiple changes in the organization every 3-4 days. No consistent incentive/ reward structure and no transparency regarding the same

Horrible company
Teacher Partner (Former Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - April 27, 2022
They work in franchise mode, you will have to find your own student. They will control everything. They will take total of the pay and will pay you monthly 50% of the fees. Now they have per class basis pay, if the student does not attend the class, you don't get paid. Students have the option to take pause units so they will take pause and will not attend classes for months and you will be unpaid. bad management.
Pros
No pros
Cons
Bad management

Hard to manage
Online maths teacher (Current Employee) - New Delhi - January 14, 2022
It not easy to work here as it seems to be and also the salaries are very low. The only thing I enjoy about my job are kids. I feel very happy to contribute something for their future.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Low paid salary

Leave your comfort zone for a great learning experience
Cuemath teacher Partner (Current Employee) - Chennai, Tamil Nadu - November 25, 2021
I am making kids great at math. Cuemath is certainly proving that anyone can be good at mathematics. It is an exponentially good method of getting the math concepts across to children, without letting them fear it The thing I like most about teaching is my students. I love interacting with them, I love learning from them, I love helping them understand the Mathematical concepts and I love when they see the connection between what they are learning and their lives. I feel as a teacher I am able to imbibe social responsibility, broaden imaginations, and offer encouragement and support. All my efforts directly impact my students—academically, behaviorally, and emotionally. The most enjoyable factor of my job is obviously the classes that I have with my student.
Pros
Facilitating the Cuemath program for turning kids into natural problem-solvers!
Cons
Nothing.

Good company to work with
Sales Manager (Former Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - November 21, 2021
Cuemath is the best work from home opportunity to work following a systematic approach to teach and make kids great at Math. Salary is credited on time, which is great. Variable pay is also provided (although may have to ask over and over again for it), but the base salary could be better (to reflect amount of work actually being done).
Pros
Friendly people, good work environment
Cons
Nothing

Productive environment
Business Development Executive (Current Employee) - Banglore - October 8, 2021
If you are an intern then, it becomes difficult to manage both college and office work because there is no work difference for intern from full timer. Good place to work.
Pros
Incentives are good
Cons
No proper time login is 930 but logout timing is after 630, after that also you should be working of there is any work
