I was heading FI and had complete autonomy / flexibility in my working I had good peer group , down to earth MD & CEO , good cross functional interaction .. I served beyond my retirement age of 58 by full 7 years working with two chairmen , and 4 MD and had good transition
Dcb bank has been a great working experience. A very good learning environment. Lots to learn from. the best part was there was scope to grow. I could learn from different departments. So, i overall had a great exposure.
kind of stressful job. but there was a lot to learn from.
When you see the profile it says customer service its not a call center but a service provider facility given by bank to customer. I had an amazing opportunity to work with different departments internally right from. A call center executive to operation.
Bank focus had changed from service to sales
The company was good as compared to others. The working environment was also good. There was so much to learn and lessonable task were been achieved. The management was also good. Partly enjoyed the work because of too much high work pressure.

Learnt, credit, nomination of key management persons, directors. Management is well informed about their work. Workplace is pleasant & conducive to work envorinment. Hardest part of job is long hours taken in AGMs. Enjoyable part, is when the targets are achieved OR cross the goals set.

Travelling through traffic jams.
was a temp here at the start of the career so nothing much to write Was a temp so nothing much to mention but was a good branch to work for Other staff members were working there for long so would have been a good organisation
The company provides decent leverage for freshers. However, their management style is completely unplanned and unprofessional. Their clientele is also below decent standards especially in the area which i work. Work life balance is also poor as we have to work on Satudays and Sundays especially in the second half of the month. Compensation for conveyance is also reimbursed based on the business you bring in. If you are unable to deliver the committed ouptut, your conveyance allowance is rejected. Moreover, the TAT for sanction is way more than that for disbursal, which is completely reverse of what the consumers demand. Hence, there are customer issues regularly. Also, there is no proper training for Management Trainees and hence, you face the music from your supervisors. Overall, the experience is that you learn the hard way here and the organisation is completely unprofessional. The only positive is that the learning potential is good as we have to be present for each and every aspect of loan processing. Thats the only positive here.
Learning curve and exposure
Unplanned management and nil work-life balance and planning
Had a good mix of work culture being at data Centre managing the vendors & mission critical applications and later being at the main IT Office and managing a critical bank application like internet bank provided for a great exposure of working in a private sector bank. The support from peers & higher management was very supportive.
Being a small bank had a good exposure to a no. of banking applications
The volumes of the bank were not considreable to make a difference in the banking industry
