Tedious appraisal process. No work life balance. Biased management. Hike and variable pay reflects after 6 months. Need to involve in Firm Initiatives irrespective of project work load. Accepts changes in requirements even at last minute and teams need to work hard to complete within deadlines.
This is only my personal experience and most would not agree to it, but the work and the salary does not match. They make us work on multiple domains or projects at once. But at the end of the month, you would not have a satisfaction on the work or the salary you get.
Its a best place to learn, if you are ready to compromise with your work life balance.In last few years its compensation and perks is not up to the mark, which they had earlier, also they are moving in support projects also. Any foolish reason can stop your promotion.

It is a pleasure to be associated with Deloitte. It is a healthy organization, it strategically integrates employee well-being into its business objectives by giving opportunities across service lines and reinforces it through established practices on leadership support, learning culture, healthy job quality, and people-friendly HRM practices.
The experience varies from team to team. I worked in a division where I could work with multiple teams in a short period of time and get exposure. The firm is inclusive with regular awards, All Hands, pulse surveys and performance improvement surveys to gather feedback from employees.
too many hierarchy levels
Give in your best, work as a team, be innovative, have the hunger to grow.. all your hard work put in, will surely be well paid off. Participating in CSR activities at times becomes difficult to balance well with work
With great brand name comes great responsibility. Your client expects extra from you.. Your manager expects extra from you.. Your Colleagues expect extra from you. You cannot just work on your client deliverables and say thats it. You are required to work on something new .. Something apart from your client deliverables.. Something that helps firm either culturally or technically. The concept of firm inititiative is something that can be counted as Pros and cons.. You will be always learning something new and challenging but you will also have two deadlines to meet .. Client deadline and initiative deadline and you cannot slack on any of them.. Any Consultant in deloitte is at par with senior developers in other organization and any senior consultant in deloitte is good as managers in other IT Service companies.. The pay is competitive and hikes are good and monthly rewards is also much better.. But it also keeps u on edge worrying about deadlines and that affects your work life balance..
