Challenging and outstanding tasks to accomplish in timely manner
Lead Auditor (Current Employee) - Westmont, IL - December 26, 2019
Audit scheduling by the scheduler is somewhat requiring organized skills. Audit planning and coordinating are challenge and fun. The actual on-site audit requires a balancing act of both time and activities at the client site and still delivering value-added audit that client does appreciate and recommend the return of the same auditor in future visit[s]. Providing flexibility to the client during on-site and off-site activities. Help to resolve client[s] issue[s] with the company by acting as liaison is more challenging and fun that helped deliver self-motivation and job satisfaction at the same time.
Pros
Iteration with varieties of corporation.
Cons
Travel delays

Lead Auditor (Current Employee) - Katy, TX - April 23, 2018
Love the work with aerospace and defense companies. Meet greet people and always learning. DNV GL provides annual training where it brings the auditors together, which provides a great opportunity for knowledge sharing and calibration of audit approaches. Travel is extreme. Some travel is fine, but I would like to be home more.
Pros
Great companies to work with, great variety in the work, great people, and always learning.
Cons
Extreme travel.

Tra i primi al mondo
Lead Auditor (Former Employee) - Bologna, Emilia-Romagna - February 11, 2017

A well establised reputed defence aerospace company
LEAD AUDITOR QMS/EMS/AEROSPACE (Current Employee) - Bangalore, KA - June 8, 2013
Typically the aerospace job at hal bangalore involved either management of the quality function at the operating plants from 1985 to 2001 or coordinating the quality function at the corporate level by dealing with the senior management including heads of quality at the 20 divisions
The interactions with all co-workers and peers as well as superiors were cordial and enjoyable
The difficult part of it was handling the lesser privileged class of minorities at times when they were agitated
The most enjoyable times were when we could achieve what we set out to do such as obtaining new certification, supplying new products, developing new products for export to leading international firms such as boeing, rolls royce, snecma and airbus.
Pros
Free food coupons every month
Cons
Bunching of production at end of financial year
