Rude managers, poor treatment of consultants
Consultant (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - July 18, 2023
Managers at Embibe (atleast in the team I was) do not know how to talk to people. They do not have courtesy, are rude, and utterly disrespectful. No coordination in work, keeps changing randomly. Just to prevent paying salary to consultant reviewers, they keep recycling old work again and again. They try to find ways to cheat consultants of their salary. Only those who do politics and buttering can survive here. No recognition of talent and skills in the employees. Ready to hire new people with higher salary than utilize the skills and experience of existing ones. Consultants are treated like dirt. Overall, poorly run company. Managers themselves have no clue on how to work, but shout on the employees.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Politics, rude, unprofessional, inefficient managers and top leadership.

Lot of politics and no work culture if you know how to manage your manager (bucketing) so you can stay longer time in this company. As per offer letter they mentioned 8 hour is the working and 2 week off (Saturday-Sunday) after they they tell depend on your manager if he wants make your work have to work extra without extra pay also in weekends without any week off.
Pros
Nothing is free
Cons
More then 8 hour work culture, weekends work, manager torcher on our weekends, no time limit in working hour, no extra pay for extra work hours, no compoff for extra working day

It's a good company that allows a lot of flexibility in work. I have worked here simultaneously with my college and my manager has been very accommodating. Overall, in my eight months of work, I found it to be a nice company.

Academic Validator (Former Employee) - Orai, Uttar Pradesh - April 27, 2023
Working at Embibe was quite satisfactory. Proper meeting was held and daily targets were set. At EOD we have to fill the work tracker. This makes the work culture more transparent. Only thing I felt that at theanager level they never care about your performance even if you are working 10+ hours in a day. Top managent seems to be less responsible for any responsibility. My first manager was really less active. He hardly answer if needed during the work hours. Overall it's a good place to work with some modifications.
Pros
Work from home, Timely layouts
Cons
Management

Fresher
SEO Content Writer (Former Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - February 14, 2023
It is OK for a fresher to work here. But no growth the content department. Peers are good but managers and leaders require training. Timing is good and WFH offered.

Both good and bad: some managers are toxic but some teams and colleagues are lovely to work with. Try to avoid office politics as much as possible
Punjabi Language Quality Manager (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - December 6, 2022
*Over-ambitious dedlines but flip-side is that it helps you to learn faster and takes you outside your comfort zone. *Some team managers can be toxic. But some teams are good to work with. So it's important to choose the teams you are going to work with. *You have to do a lot of cross-functional stuff for which dedicated people should have been there but on the flip-side if you are young and inexperienced, this can bring a lot of learning. *Many roles are poorly defined which causes a lot of distress and mismanagement. *Growth is faster and if you can boost your skills that would be rewarded. Hacks to work here: choose your team wisely here; bring clear communication to the table; learn to say NO politely and respectfully to harsh dedlines and harsh treatments (toxic sometimes); always get a plan B ready son that you have good position from where you negotiate your position (and you may have to do this daily).

No job security, hectic work
Academic validator (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - October 29, 2022
No work life balance, hectic work. Once you get hired you will do more than what you are hired for. No employee benefits , waste management, internal politics, poor managers. This is only for contractual employee only not for full time. For FTE they have good benefit policies.

You can survive if you know how to play politics. Rude behavior by senior members. If you wanna ruin work life balance then you are welcome. It's better to not join this company.

COPY EDITOR, MEDIA (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - April 24, 2022
The amount of work to be done depends on which projects require your contribution. Sometimes requires weekend work but you’ll get compensatory off for that.
Pros
Compensatory off
Cons
Sudden priority work to be done

Toxic!
Talent Acquisition Executive (Former Employee) - Bangalore - March 21, 2022
Worst place to work at. You’re never paid on time. There’s petty politics in almost every department with the most being amongst HRs. One has to chase respective authorities to get a simple work done. If you choose to put down your papers your reporting manager will hold your salary as well as your relieving letter. Nothing is streamlined. They’ll lure you into joining the organisation by saying one thing & once you join they’ll act like they never told you that. Hardwork isn’t valued here AT ALL. Please don’t join this company as it’ll only give you mental trauma.

Content Researcher (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - March 11, 2022
This my friends is a lost company, no values, no ethics just a company eager to want you feel startup culture without any vision. Join it if you are on earth just to breathe.

Work-life balance is very bad. Everyone works only for money, not for the growth of the company
Video Editor (Former Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - February 25, 2022
I had a bad experience cause I was working for a contract base. So they give all the work to full-time employees and I just go every morning and come back by just doing one project. I can easily finish 3 projects a day
Pros
Good place to work
Cons
There are lots of cons

Stressful and a bit disorganised
Content Writer (Current Employee) - Bengaluru, Karnataka - February 25, 2022
Managerial decisions change very often and clearly lack vision and direction. People frequently leave and newbies are hired to fill in middle level roles. This leads to a lot of miscommunication and confusion
