What would you suggest Ericsson management do to prevent others from leaving?

  • Talking about big ideas is fine how to have it implemented is equally important. No matter how big is your idea but if you dont have the right set of people with the right kind of attitude to have it implemented ,your ideas would just remain a dream . Unachieved.

  • Stop hiring people less capable than we are . There lies no potential growth. Their responsibilities also falls on us which leaves us no scope for improvement.

  • They need to be rational in their approach and not just promote the ones of their own clan. They need to look for those who think differently ,for different ideas can bring in big opportunities. They need to accept new challenges and not avoid it. There lies now new growth if you are not accepting new challenges which opens doors for new opportunities. Start thinking out of the box.

  • They need to think out of the box else they will remain in the box giving other entities opportunities to take away their business. Customer are the ones who build their value in the market . Customers are the ones who set their market value and if they compromise on their quality customers have wide variety of options to choose.

  • They should focus more on customer needs more than their own. They should not forget that they are because of their customers and not the other way round. They really need to have good decision makers and takers. else they are compromising the reputation of the company . They should not forget that reputation is built with time and it takes a fraction of seconds to just take it away. They really need to reconsider to go for restructuring and hire resources who can add value to companies reputation.

  • Take actions proactively and diligently. Feel and Be responsible. Dont expect anything rich if you choose to hire for cheap. Focus more on quality and not just on quantity. Choose people who can be an asset and not a liability making everyone's lives miserable to function leaving them no choice than to leave.

  • Why do you think an employee leaves an organisation. Either she doesnt see any personal growth or she is not respected in the system for the quality work she has been delivering due to lack of vision. No right decisions taken by the management at the right time which can hamper the reputation of the company leaving the employees frustrated and leaving no options and to leave the company by choice.
