EY is a good place to start your career. The learning opportunities are tremendous and one can really understand the overall offerings in Technology space. However, the work culture is very hectic and the support required is average at the best by the management. The work never ends here, and if you are not good at networking with your superiors, please forget about hikes/increments. Work life balance should not be expected if one is thinking of joining the firm. Good luck.

Team working

This is experience for my daughter, some dominated culture team leaders are avoid to grow others no proper guidelines of work for new joiners. more pressure work culture are impact mentality to workers

Good Co., good management culture Good culture activity

Dominated culture it is is Bangalore RMZ division, No work support & guidelines for juniors from team leaders, Without understanding work capacity dump work load, team leaders are not aware time line given assignment to down line, Not review & discussion for mistakes or guidelines, Long time assignments expect to complete short time.

A good place to work with a little of stress during busy seasons.

Enjoy the benefits , workmore, learn more , make a lot of friends. EY is great place to work. Work life balance is less. They give additional benefits now like work from home especially for working mothers.

Good place for growing your connections and exposure

Great place to start a career - if you're joining any of the Big 4 firms. A lot of opportunities for learning though lacking in work life balance....

Fast Paced and diverse learning

At an Associate level entrance is easy but growth after that is difficult and will require patience.Partiality between CAs and Non -CAs is evident. Growth & Salary Hike and pay scale are different for both.Worklife balance is a people driven concept, completely depends on your seniors.

Low cost lunch prior covid. Leave benefits. Social gatherings

Not equivalent pay scales for CAs & Non CAs, Long working hours, No clear feedback or one to one communication during feedback cycle, Rating systems in place not adhered

Good for Client Facing Role

Good benefits for Clients facing staffs , timely promotions , better bonus . However for support staff its contrary. Support staff do not get promoted easily ,however all depends on your immediate supervisor.

Good working environment

Great place to learn and grow, low compensation and terrible work-life balance

EY provides it's employees with great opportunities to learn. I had access to to so many advanced courses, management was willing to fund my certifications, and the company policy was flexible enough to allow one to work in a field that they are suited to.Get ready for daily overtime and work on weekends. Need to be available on call 24/7. Compensation is low for the amount of work and standard of living. Need to be available to travel as and when requirements appear

Subsidized lunch/dinner, Great culture, good teams, flexible enviornment

Long hours, low compensation, sudden travel

Stressful and Demotivating

There are lots of operational challenges in EY GDS. They don’t invest on talent, hr, Lnd teams. It’s all given to the managers. All the communication happens in numbers and the leadership put lot of pressure on the people to get their numbers. Well being is last concern as you can’t get increments by showing my team is having good balance. Ey has lots of initiatives, that help them sell on social media.. but due to constant stress people rarely gets benefits out of these.

Long hours, ad hoc responsibilities

totally depends on client

too many formalities which will take away 4 hours of your job daily and will lead to overtime.stress of timelinesno team work its a solo job in most cases

free to work from anywhere ..hr policies are held high

11 hours average work.. stress of delivery ..no help..life changes in every project

Overall it was a greate experience.

It was my first corporate company. I clearly understood what is corporate politics. Within 2 months 5-6 people resigned from my team. It is one of the best companies but, really worse when coming to individual teams and team managers. This is my personal experience.
